When London met Christopher Lee Sauvé!

by NYLA Boutique 9. September 2011

After 2 months of vigorous planning, sleepless nights and a large in take of coffee, our scandal was finally revealed on Tuesday the 6th of September at the gorgeous Home House for our launch event, and what a night it was!

Not letting the unexpected heavy, bizarre down pour of rain get in our way, we were able to finish our last minute preparations in a bid to make it a night to remember.

Upon the arrival of our guests, many had stated that they were immediately blown away by our venues beautiful architecture and décor, and we couldn’t agree more. As the mood lifting house music played in the background, it became obvious that this was the perfect setting for Christopher Lee Sauvé to display his magnificent T-shirt designs, both on the models and on our Canvas prints, which received an overwhelming and amazing response. As an exhibition of his work, everyone appeared to have picked their favourites, with each different to the next, grabbing every opportunity to pose for a picture next to them. Alongside the striking pink uplighting, our models set the scene perfectly, performing CLS’s choreography as a presentation for his ingenious artwork.

As the champagne was flowing, conversations bursting, the canapés devoured and our photographer snapping each moment of the night, Chris, the showman as always, was a complete gentleman, working the floor and taking every opportunity to speak to each individual guest about his work. They couldn’t get enough of him!

The 'SCANDAL' event was an entire success, with both Chris and his collection proving to be a huge hit with the public. As the night drew to an end, the front parlour transformed into a dance floor and we couldn’t help but join Chris for some grooves to celebrate our collaboration.

We feel so incredibly honoured and excited to be working with such an amazing designer and person as he is. For all those of you eager to purchase one of your favourite designs, his t-shirts will be available on our website on Monday 12th September.
