Erika Ponce is the designer behind Mina Ro Mina jewellery. Passionate and skilled in sculpture and jewellery design, she creates distinguished collections that are both ornate and modern, which is very hard to find in the current knock off high street culture.

She spends her time designing in New York and Guanajuato- a historical Mexican state filled with silver and stone mines where she produces the Mina Ro Mina collection. Most recently, one of her pieces was chosen by Swarovski to be shown in their showcase  gallery at the Javitz Center in New York.

The SS12 Collection named Lilies & Guitars is influenced by famous paintings by Monet and Picasso. The influence of Monet can be seen through the delicacy of the jewellery and the colour of the stones- reminiscent of the soft colours used in his paintings.

The Giverny gold earrings act as a decorative piece of art for your ears. The curved nature of the earrings allows it to look a bit hardcore, but still subtle with the delicate yellow of the Topaz stone. The Guernica bracelet is named after Pablo Picasso’s famous Guernica painting, the dangling triangle feature on the bracelet came through the triangular impressions in the painting. The Lilies & Guitars collection is timeless and can be worn by it self or complimented with other jewellery items.
